01Our approach to accessibility

Our approach is guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2). We design toward Level AA and treat accessibility as an engineering discipline, not a checkbox. It gets the same care we give performance and security.

This is a visually rich site, and we don't pretend that's tension-free. Where rich visuals and access needs meet, our rule is simple: the content must never depend on the decoration. Every fact, every control, and every path through the site works without the light show.

02What this site does today

• Semantic structure: real headings, landmarks, and lists throughout. The page you're reading is built the way it claims the site is built.
• Keyboard navigation: every link and control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
• Text alternatives: decorative visuals are marked decorative; informative images carry descriptions.
• High-contrast text: body copy is set against deep space deliberately, and long-form pages like this one run an even higher-contrast text tone.
• No content in motion alone: animations are atmosphere, never the only carrier of information.

03What we're still working on

We'd rather tell you what's in progress than claim a finished state:

• Reduced-motion refinement: honoring prefers-reduced-motion consistently across every animated surface of the site.
• Full WCAG 2.2 AA audit: a systematic pass covering contrast, focus order, ARIA, and screen reader flows is a scheduled milestone before we call this done.
• Assistive-technology testing: verifying real flows with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
