01Who we are
Whatsoever LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company operating as Whatsoever.ai. We are an AI consulting agency. We help organizations with AI strategy, AI development and integration, generative AI and multimedia design, process optimization and automation, knowledge management, and e-commerce AI integration. We also build our own AI products, such as Stated Roots, our photo-restoration and animation tool.
Our mailing address is 5830 E 2nd Street, Suite 7000 #15603, Casper, Wyoming 82609. This policy covers our public website. It does not cover the separate work we do under contract inside client engagements. That is addressed in Section 4 and in the agreements we sign with clients.
02Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run our website and respond to you. Specifically:
- Contact form. When you use our contact form, we collect the details you enter: typically your name, email address, company, and message. These are the fields you choose to share so we can reply.
- Newsletter signup. If you enter your email in the newsletter field in our footer, we collect that email address so we can send you updates you asked for.
- Phone. If you call us at 307.485.0952 or 406.464.4071, we may keep notes about your inquiry so we can follow up. Whether calls are logged depends on the phone service we use; we do not record calls without telling you.
- Automatic / log data. Like almost every website, our hosting infrastructure automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is standard server activity used to keep the site running, secure, and reliable.
We do not ask for sensitive information (such as government IDs, financial account numbers, or health data) through this website, and we ask that you not send it to us through the contact form.
03How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the information or services you request.
- Send our newsletter and updates, when you have signed up for them.
- Operate, secure, maintain, and improve our website.
- Understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can make it better.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
04AI and your data
Because AI is our business, we want to be unambiguous about it.
- We do not use your visitor data to train AI models. Information you submit through this website (contact form entries, newsletter signups, and log data) is not fed into any machine learning model, ours or a third party's, for training or fine-tuning purposes.
- Client engagement data is handled separately and confidentially. When we work with a client, any data involved in that engagement is governed by the specific contract, statement of work, data processing terms, and non-disclosure agreement we sign for that project, not by this website policy. We do not use client data to train, fine-tune, or improve general-purpose AI models unless a client has explicitly and separately agreed in writing.
- When we use third-party AI tools in our work, we choose and configure them with these same commitments in mind, and we address model-training and data-use terms in our client agreements.
05Cookies and analytics
At publication, this site uses minimal cookies. As the site grows, we may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies, and we may install privacy-respecting analytics (for example, to measure page visits and traffic sources) to understand site usage and improve performance.
If and when we add analytics or non-essential cookies, we will update this policy to name the tools we use and describe what they collect, and, where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent through a cookie banner before setting non-essential cookies. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect how some parts of the site work.
06Third-party services
We rely on a small number of reputable service providers to run the website. They process limited information on our behalf and only to provide their service to us:
- Vercel: hosts and serves the website, and processes standard server log and delivery data.
- Resend: delivers our contact form submissions to us by email. Resend processes the message you send (name, email, company, message) solely to deliver it. The newsletter signup provider will be named here once selected.
- Analytics provider: none installed at publication; if added, it will be listed in Section 5.
These providers are bound by their own privacy terms and, where applicable, by data processing agreements with us. We do not authorize them to use your information for their own independent purposes.
07Sharing and disclosure
We share personal information only in these limited situations:
- With service providers who help us operate the website, as described in Section 6.
- For legal reasons: if required by law, subpoena, or valid governmental request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of others.
- In a business transfer: if Whatsoever LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
08Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, and then we delete or anonymize it. Contact inquiries are kept as long as reasonably needed to respond and maintain our business records. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Some information may be retained longer where the law requires it or to resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
09Your choices and rights
You are in control of your information:
- Newsletter. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time.
- Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using Section 13 and we will respond within a reasonable time.
A note on state privacy laws. Some U.S. states, including California, give residents specific privacy rights. Laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) apply to businesses that cross defined thresholds: broadly, more than roughly $25 million in annual revenue, handling the personal information of 100,000 or more consumers or households a year, or making at least half their revenue from selling personal information. As a small consultancy, we do not currently meet these thresholds and are not obligated under the CCPA/CPRA. Even so, we honor reasonable access, correction, and deletion requests from any visitor, and we do not sell personal information.
A note for international visitors. If you visit from outside the United States, including the EU or UK, please know your information is processed in the United States. We aim to align with core data protection principles: collecting only what we need, using it only for the purposes described, and honoring access and deletion requests. But we are not currently established as a GDPR-regulated processor. If you have questions about how your data is handled, contact us.
10Children's privacy
This website is meant for a business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including secure hosting and limiting access to those who need it. That said, no website or method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you share information with us at your own discretion.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website, tools, and legal obligations change. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and post the new version here. Significant changes will be highlighted. Please check back periodically.
